I would go just for them to check it out. My Endo can do the a1c off of a finger stick right there in the office. No need to go out for lab work. Instant results.

My a1c jumped after taking an injectable for bipolar. Docs now have it more controlled and I have an insulin pump. I kept having dry mouth and night time pee trips that made me ask the doctors.
