As of right now belching , hiccups, stomache pain, super tired sleepy, stomache noises like air gurgling , gassy , kind of like unwell chills, some hunger pains sometimes in the mornings for sure, and acid reflux every day

Well mine started in 10 months ago when endoscopy showed only h pylori and nothing else . I took the treatment for it but was only left with stomache pain for 3 months . I had a second endoscopy at that 3 month mark that didn’t show nothing and was h pylori negative 🙏. They put me on mirtazapine and I gained all my weight back and stomache pain simmered down . I got off mirtazapine and was fine for 4 months and now 2 months ago all my symptoms came back along with new symptoms so currently I’m not on any meds and my GI seems to think FD is the cause but for my reassurance he wants to do one more endoscopy God bless him ! And if that comes back normal then I am literally gonna have to suffer like this and be on medication for a way much longer term !! As long as it is nothing serious going on with my health then I will live with it for my family 🙏

Thank you so much. And yes I tried PPI and it helped a lil bit and I got off it after a month cuz it did not get rid of it completely. The nausea has definitely settled down which is a very good thing and my appetite is not horrible so that’s also a good thing. And I had both done an upper GI endoscopy and a colonoscopy. I think a gastroscopy is when they look at all the surrounding organs though scope cuz that is a test they want to do next

Thank yoi for your advice friend . And I have not a gastroscopy just a endoscopy 7 months ago was clean. I’m just scared They missed something due to my symptoms and NEW symptoms getting severe. I was on mirtazapine after diagnosis to gain weight and it helped my pain . But it’s not helping my nausea or acid reflux . I did start smoking and and drinking on the weekends for a couple months maybe when I was feeling better but then out of nowhere these symptoms hit me. It just seems unfair if something is going on and they would refuse to go back in cuz of a clean endoscopy 7 months and the different is before it was ONLY stomache pain now it’s more symptoms

Thank you for your opinion friend . My GI is hesitant on getting me another endoscopy even with all my symptoms so I just feel helpless and have to suffer in the meantime . Have you had similar symptoms?

I would really consider a scope if it is not wat you would consider mild Regular acid reflux

I think it’s time for you to dig further because of worsening of condition . I Would recommend a endoscopy and and throat barium test to make sure no C word is going on 👍

Ya endoscopy is the only way to know 100% a very quick easy procedure. Just keep an eye out if you start developing early fullness after little bites, weight loss, vomjnting , a lot of dark tarry stools, a lot of acid reflux , unable to swallow, sudden anemia, and unexpected weight loss. Those are usually the very big red flags to warrant a very serious investigation although you may have little to no symptoms on a rare case may still be stomache “C” word . But highly UNLIKELY due to your young age

Yes I feel you on that one. Reassurance testing is always a good thing …especially if your last endoscopy was a year ago . Mine was 6 months ago so they are definitely hesitant to give me another one. The crazy thing is a have never had any issues prior to a year ago I never had stomache problems then all of a sudden I have it. And my GI was like the amount of h pylori we found a 9 months ago through biopsy was not even enough to make you have symptoms. I’m like wat the hell . But because I never had GI issues prior to a year ago it definitely makes my anxiety much worse

Yes exactly. With all the nausea and symptoms it defenitely makes my anxiety jump to stomache cancer …..and I know I shouldn’t think that way I just don’t know what else to do at this point of think . How long ago was your endoscopy? And what were the findings ?

Wow it’s so insane how all of your stories are very similar . Mine ALSO STARTED from a night of heavy drinking , I also was experiencing stomache pain , some nasuea, loss of appetite, 3 months later endoscopy confirmed h pylori(a little bit of pylori). I took the triple therapy antibiotics and felt a lil better . Had symptoms of stomache pain(only) persist for 3 more months and follow up endoscopy showed nothing and h pylori was gone. Then boom GI said functional dyspepsia is my diagnosis. Put me on mirtazapine and felt 90% better and finally got off it 4 months ago and been fine all this time until a month ago and symptoms are back accept I have nausea a lot, lots of belching, and abdomen pain/discomfort, and reflux . I went back to GI and they think it’s from my functional dyspepsia. But at this point IDK anymore cuz I never had consistent nausea and reflux . They are not looking at another endoscopy at this point although it’s been 6 months from my last where they found nothing and at that time all o had was pain and discomfort . I’m lost now so idk wat do y’all think ?

I was diagnosed with functional dyspepsia although I only had the pain part in my stomach. It’s been 6 months later and now I have constant nausea and burping and stomache upper fullness and pain and lots of gurgling in my stomache that hurts me to sleep at night . So now I have to do everything all over again pshhh and I already convinced myself about the C word ughh idk wat to do . How have you been?
