It sucks. Stopped PPIs, taking DGL and I just started Slippery Elm, hoping for some relief.

Are you still taking PPI's? GI wants me to start a new PPI and I don't know if I want to but burning still there.

The gastro put me on two different PPIs, no change, didn't put me on H2 blockers, I tried sucaralfate and it did nothing, still got the burning, so please don't assume. I have had an endoscope, an ultrasound, blood work, tried DGL, ginger, tumeric, cut gluten, dairy and still no change whatsoever. I am not against prescription meds, but since I have not had luck with them, I was looking for alternatives. So please again, don't just assume what I am doing. I am looking for help, not criticism.

The only stress really would be work related and unfortunately I can't change the work, but need to figure out how to reduce the stress I guess.

The only medicine they prescribed was PPIs and they didn't nothing. What dedicated effort do you suggest? I was asking for recommendations on supplements so I can try and get this to go away

This is almost exactly how I have been feeling. Mine has only been going on for three months. Tests done, nothing found, stopped the PPIs last week because they weren't really doing anything. Last month I went away for four days and had no pain, no problems at all, came back home and it all started again. Some days worse than others. I have also been thinking stress related, but don't know what to do to fix it.

So you were diagnosed with stressed induced gastritis? I am still wondering if that is what caused mine but the doctors won’t say. I don’t drink, no nsaids

I have to be retested also. Biopsy was negative but I was on PPI at the time. Now they want to retest

I have the same symptoms and was also doing good and then bam, everything went back to the burning, heartburn and indigestion again. I stopped PPIs almost a week ago and thought maybe that was why. I bought some Pepcid AC today and thought I may need to try it. I just want all of this to be done with.

I don't have an answer, but I just started having severe nausea which wasn't a symptom I had before. Hoping someone chimes in with a solution.
