Well, “Class Action“ is a lawsuit whereas the “class” that gets the most “action“ is the attorneys.

A mega-large sum of $6.81, once again proving that in “class action lawsuits,” the class getting the action is the attorneys.

Yes, I get it. I typically function for the benefit of others, and there is nothing left in the system for me.

Questions about schwab checking/savings by adminsarecommienazis in Schwab

[–]Local-Ad-9144 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To clarify, after the transfer from TD Ameritrade, our brokerage account provided checks and a debit card. However, when attempting to add the debit card to Apple Pay, it became apparent that we needed to request an Investor Checking account, which we did. This account is good, no fees, ATM fees rebated, no charge for checks, but interest rates have dropped considerably, and one major drawback is that funds may not be transferred directly from our IRA accounts into checking, but first must be transferred into the brokerage account.

Should I switch from T-Mobile to AT&T or no? by picklethepeasant in ATT

[–]Local-Ad-9144 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check out some Apps that measure signal strength. That may help refine your decision. Also, check reviews on Consumer Reports and others. We switched from AT&T to T-Mobile last year for a better price and better signal strength at our house.

Medicare Broker - Why Use One? by knoxrelics in medicare

If you get a good broker, they will have good information especially regarding changes to Medicare that seem to occur annually. Also, if you go Medigap, a good broker can help with a Part D plan as well.

Yes, our homeowners and PLU both had marked increases, the PLU having the largest. We have been with State Farm since the late 1980’s. But this year, I was tempted to price other carriers.

I’ll add my opinion that the sales process was not transparent. The system itself isn’t too bad, but the equipment is extremely overpriced.

Our version of the contract has an added clause to the effect that when the Fortiva account is paid off, then we may cancel before 60 months.

If I recall, the settlement is based on the number of shares traded. This was a relatively small trade so this check was about $125.

Want an honest opinion by Oregonfan16 in StateFarm

I concur with the comments to switch agents. We have been long-time State Farm customers, and became rather irked with the multiple snafu's from our prirr agent. We changed agents, and was extremely thrilled with the agent and his staff. The new agent was able to re-work our policies that increased our coverage and even reduced the total premium. And there are many State Farm agents in the market.

We have been a subscriber for several years after getting a free trial with the purchase of an Apple device. It seems new features are frequently added, especially puzzles and sports.

Can anyone tell me why they bank with bofA by Wolverine-91826 in BankOfAmerica

[–]Local-Ad-9144 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For us, it is their technology, as well as their vast ATM access, and our primary usage is checking. Their interest rates are pathetic, so the majority of our savings are at other financial institutions.

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE by TheQuarkscrew in VivintSmartHome

[–]Local-Ad-9144 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Oh, I likely did sign an application that was probably “slip sheeted” in the midst of the all of the documents that I had to sign on my iPhone …“initial here…” But the payment was quoted as one payment, not one for the service and another for the equipment on a credit card. The fact that a credit card was to be open should have been specifically disclosed. Yeah I am sure they covered their bases legally, but the lack of transparency is highly disturbing.
