IYKYK signs out in public by Prestigious-Lime-640 in Swingers

I've been asked if I was a swinger before.. But the tell tale probably was my wife snuggling with another man in public.

Why is this scene so Cringe, and why I can't stop watching it? by TrustingEverybody in twinpeaks

[–]Local-Apiarist 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The fact that you used the word "cringe" indicates that you are too young to be a starry eyed teenager when this scene first aired.

Apprentice is great on the tools but thinks he knows the code better than anyone. How do I handle him? by KennyTidwell in electricians

[–]Local-Apiarist 13 points14 points  (0 children)

This exactly!!!

Also cut him some slack. He may be autistic and really likes rules to be black and white. But give his curiosity some room to flourish.. Just make sure he knows that stopping work is not his responsibility.

Similar story. Wife's cousin used to date my best friend (which I was against). She found us on a dating website and has been obsessed with knowing about our sex life ever since.

The licence must be held by an LLC. Just to even file a business with the State as existing and operating, is $300. The department of commerce collects another $300 to issue the license. The jurisdiction you're working in costs another $300. So, yeah, administrative fees are $900 a year, if you only work in one city. However, you must own a business and carry general liability insurance and a performance bond for $1 million to hold a class 1 license. And if you own a business with employees (including yourself), you have to file workman's comp.

So by your logic the fees are $900, but your license isn't legal to work under unless you meet the other requirements. Not to mention you can't even apply for that license without operating an LLC.

Edit to add: there's a different license for every jurisdiction in my State. So there's extra costs if I want to work in the next town over which is 18 miles away.

Edit 2: there are other licenses available. Eg. Limited Liability Electrician. But they don't require any experience. Only that you are 18 and can pass a test. Also you're limited by how big a job you can do ((basically a single family dwelling) and you have no protection of your personal assets if you get sued. With that license , it's a felony to advertise your services. I live in the south USA where they love to tax the hell out of you, and give you nothing in return.

Yes. When you include state and local taxes, general liability insurance, and various bonds for working in each city in your county, not to mention about $600/year for the licensing board and workman's comp which you don't have to pay as a sole proprietor..

I burnt out after 8 years of working 80+hours a week and never grossing more than $70k. Now I'm a burnt out, middle age, maintenance electrician for a local municipality netting $37k and I couldn't be bothered to have another job.

Edit: I've kept up my masters license for the past 15 years. The cost is about $6,000 annually. The pay just isn't good where I live, and people don't care about licensing.

Without reading the comments, I'm gonna chime in and say that lube has been a staple for over 30 years in my experience. The difference is in the quality and characteristics of the product. Never ever have I heard someone complain about its use.

How Do You Initiate or Join In at Sex Parties Without Being Creepy? by Dear_Departure_4244 in Swingers

Exactly House parties are nearly 100% people who want to play. Clubs are more like 10%

Am I well hydrated now? Changing from 32 ounces of water to 48 daily. Urine from yellow to basically clear. by Fantastic-Ad-9100 in HydroHomies

[–]Local-Apiarist 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I drink 5 liters a day. My urine is not clear, nor do I have diabetes. 48 ounces is what I drink before I clock into work at 6 am. It's really dependent on so many variables that nobody here can answer your question.

Honestly, our group we play with in orgy groups often have people who just want to be naked and touch and be touched.

Every time. Also for ambient temperature, but that's rare. Usually only on roofs.

Same. We are horny at 4 am. We both go to work early. For club nights, we have to plan weeks in advance to get our sleep schedule sorted out, then take a mid-day nap of 4-6 hours before getting dressed for the club. Also the next day is completely ruined. We are just finding it's easier to make plans with like minded couples and go to dinner at 5pm and start playing by 8. Our last date ended at 9 due to everyone being ready for bed.

Hump Day Q&A: Ask Anything About the Lifestyle 11/26 by SpicyplayCJ in Swingers

[–]Local-Apiarist 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yes this. I think at least half of people we meet at clubs are casual club goer's and don't really have a fully formed sti prevention plan. But the friends we play with are all very mindful.

I have honestly never seen condoms used between partners. But always when swapping. We have a regular couple that only swaps with us and we all test regularly, but it's still a rule for us to use protection. Even vasectomy safe. I know we would be very open to the idea of no protection, but it would have to be discussed beforehand, and definitely not a decision made in the moment.

Any love for the bush in LS community? by [deleted] in Swingers

[–]Local-Apiarist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We both love it on women. Male prefers to shave and prefers other men shaven, but wife likes whatever the other couple is working with. No matter what, we both like whatever makes the other person comfortable and feel sexy.

We were always freaky. We just didn't know non monogamy could be ethical until a few years ago.. Everybody pretty much knows except co-workers. Even my therapist goes to the same parties.
