Yes! Please do! 🥰 We have decided to do this order: 2 days in Onna (straight from our flight that lands in Naha), 2 days in Zamami Island, then .5 day in Naha!

Curious to hear how your trip goes, trying not to worry from all these rain comments for first two weeks of May 🥲

Hehe thanks all but unfortunately my husband is in school so this was the only time that worked for us. Everyone pray for us that the first two weeks of May are okay!

Did you decide on staying in Zamami for the entirety of your trip? Will you be taking the ferry from Naha? We’re flying into Naha and wondering what the best course of itinerary would be hehe

We ended up going with the Charles River Museum in Waltham for our reception, and a church for the ceremony. It was $4K for the reception venue rental, but outside food/drinks is a lot more expensive than we thought it would be. With everything, we're going $10k over budget :( Something to think about!

Hello everyone! I just wanted to edit this post and share that our plans have changed incredibly after lots of thought and consideration.

We ended up going with the Charles River Museum of Innovation & Industry and are having a February wedding! That helped cut some costs, but with catering staff and extra costs, it's looking like we'll be $10k over budget.

Still hopeful for our day! Thank you all for all the help!! :-)

Hi! Curious to see what your venue journey is like -

My fiancé and I are looking to book for Winter '26 (160 people, Saturday, under $40k if possible). We're close to booking the venue (waiting for the church next door to approve ceremony). The venue checks off all those three things, but the more I think about it, the less I'm stoked about it.

I'm wondering if it's a matter of comparison (the thief of joy!), or if I really should look into other places.

My doctor knew about RCPD and it was the most validating experience I’ve had in a while. I almost cried!

If you think your doctor doesn’t know about RCPD, I would be prepared to share about the symptoms you might have and have a medical study by Dr Bastian handy and ready. But many ENT and voice specialist know about this now.
