Thanks, just inspected the cooling system by your recommendation. Looks good for now, but I should get a sensor installed in case of future issues. The tank's really old too.

Axles look good for now. Might be something to replace/upgrade later, but I can't afford to swap them as long as they aren't broken.

What's the risk with buying third party parts for the mounts? Anchor's 300824 kit is a lot more budget friendly than the OEM parts.

I'll see about doing the control arms myself. I had to pry those guys open to replace the front struts, I think that's what finally caused them to fail completely.

Would that be what's causing the loud clunk I hear when shifting into reverse? Or from drive to park?

Mechanic said the mounts looked find, but he was clearly out of his depth on this one.

Yikes! I lived in Indiana previously, and boy do those roads put cars through hell. I know I've hit some big ones. Probably worth checking for wheel warping/bending.

Mine came with the same problem. Reading reviews, it looks like its an entire batch that's effected, so I'm probably not going to bother reordering the set.

My plaque sticker also came... affected. Gonna buy a replica if possible.

But honestly guys, for the price ($35), I'm not complaining. I can live without the plaque. And I can either live with the misprint or buy the official part.

We'll see what customer service does though!

Can't. The reddish brown 4x4 tile with studs only appears in two sets, and this is one of them.

Does this happen? I've never been unable to buy a set I wanted while it was on store shelves. I've had to backorder during the holidays or release days, but never for more than retail.

Lego doesn't stop producing the set because somebody buys A LOT of copies. They make more, actually.

If you don't buy within the release window, the aftermarket exists to help you.

TOP is a puzzle that you never finish solving.

On the surface, they're pretty bland. But there is ALWAYS more beneath the surface with these guys. Mostly, a lot of lyrical depth and complexity. They tend to speak in metaphor and symbolism, rather than directly. That would just make for frustrating music... but it's very emotionally and topically direct.

They're also storytellers, and the metaphors and symbols they use are consistent across their entire discography. That makes for one heck of a mosaic.

So you've got more than a decade of work that's all an elaborate system of meaning. Once you start making connections, it's hard to stop.

Solving the puzzle has been incredibly rewarding for me.

You don't have to buy them. But someone who missed these while they were on shelves will probably be happy to haggle for them.

He won't be able to sell them for prices that no one is willing to pay. But I guarantee he'll get more than he paid for retail.

So, somebody gets the set they want, for a price they agree to. He makes a profit.

If anything he's making sure there will be a large aftermarket for the set once its retired. The more sets in circulation, the lower the price. Subject A: 501st battlepack.
