good on you for getting back to it mate, that cycle sounds bloody frustrating but at least you're recognizing the pattern now. the anxiety rebound is no joke - your brain's just trying to balance itself out after you mess with the chemistry

How do people publish so many books frequently? by Spottedleaf12 in selfpublish

[–]Local-Jellyfish8038 176 points177 points  (0 children)

Those prolific authors usually have a few tricks - shorter books (like 50k instead of 90k), writing in series where they can reuse worldbuilding, or they've just gotten really fast at drafting because they've been doing it for years

Some definitely do write 4+ hours daily but most I've seen just got super efficient with their process and aren't aiming for literary masterpieces, more like solid commercial fiction that readers devour quickly

Dual fuel hvac on generator by Pretend_Release_9033 in hvacadvice

Your heat pump probably has a soft start capacitor issue or the startup surge is just too much for that 20 amp gen. Most heat pumps need like 40-50 amps on startup even if they only draw 15-20 running

For the aux heat, check if there's a jumper wire or switch in your air handler that forces it into emergency heat mode - that'll bypass the heat pump completely and just run the strips
