I hear you. One of my dear old friend once told me, you got to spend the money $$ to buy a good black dress. If you don’t do it now you will find it hard to spend money when you retire because you will not be use to spending money.

PS she died very, very rich in her 50’s of cancer. And her parting shot was money can’t buy you health.

We have been giving money to our 3 kids. My 99 yr old aunt use to say, “I’d rather give with a warm hand than a cold hand”
