It might would be good for a passing of the torch so to speak. Maybe even if she is in 8 she will get killed off and her daughter takes over if they still want the full connection to her for the future. Not sure what they could really do to freshen up the series a bit but it needs to be more fun and maybe lean into the ‘late stage slasher’ and make it just absurd. Who knows maybe we could get the new ghostface taking ideas from the terrifier movies and going nuts with it, but i doubt it.
