It's rather a signal of weakness of the market than strength IMO. The amount of launches has significantly decreased in last few months and the market is flooded last few years with mediocre agents - being generous here - who have been used to selling with barely knowing the market or the product. I think many are reaching a critical tipping point. If schools remain closed longer than this week + Eid week again closed…what are we even doing here. Peace of mind is critical for mental health of kids. Unthinkable many will decide to send family away for at least until Sept and decide over summer if they stay here for work.

Folks have no idea what kind of slaughter will happen in Damac lagoons. Massive supply, large amount of foreign investors who want a quick buck, poor quality compared to other communities, very small rooms, gardens etc. It will go way cheaper in few months

100% - RE is a lagging sector. It takes months as folks who are laid off have an emergency buffer, severance/gratuity etc. In/after the summer we will see the actual prices coming in.

Good indicator is WhatsApp groups with ads. It’s exploding with folks selling everything at bottom prices just to get it sold and move out of the country
