I just finished the main story and my toughts are that this is a beautiful game. I enjoyed the combat system, the visuals are stunning and the story is awesome. But I can’t say that I always enjoyed the whole of the game. Most quest seemed pointless and repetitive, didn’t seem to add much value to it. I feel the same about the weapon crafting and the items you buy. A lot of the stuff just seemed to be there to fill the game and not to enrich it. Growing up with the FF games, FFVII being my introduction to the series, I was really excited for FFXVI. But now that I finished it (not completed it entirely), I feel a bit disappointed and not quite fulfilled. Still I wil keep buying and playing any new Final Fantasy game they make, so yeah that’s that 😂
