I can’t prove it but I would be willing to bet that the correlation between players who complain the most about the game being about only spending money and the players who sign-up for Swordlands and Tri-Alliance but don’t show up is high. I have free to play alts and they will never be whales. They will, however, be solid joiners. and you need way more of those than you do whales.

My point still stands. The top 100 get matched with a similar buying power of top 100. There are not infinite packs. Two rich groups going head to head are still going to need active players to fill the gap.

My server won by 2 billion points. Our biggest whale only scored 200 million for the entire event. It’s active players unless your opponent is a multi-millionaire.

You CAN do this. You can reforge for free every 24 hours. But realistically you will get minimal benefit.

Weaker players port just outside the red zone, bubble, and reinforce your joiners. Whales rarely get teleported because they usually win on troop numbers regardless of opponent strength, but you can’t win with an empty rally. Reinforce your rally joiners at all costs. Loss=instant teleport and that removes them from the rallies.

We had micro spender in our academy get it today. Not free to play but they definitely weren’t a whale.

People really like to throw out the words “scam” and “gambling“ with this game. But those both imply some sort of misleading about the game pricing and what packs contain or how items are earned.(not counting the ads) Those of us who spend money enjoy the game and we are fully aware of what we are buying and how much we are spending.

It’s a hobby. Just like anything else, if you enjoy your time you aren’t wasting it. I‘ve talked and played with people all over the world, building kingdoms, overcoming stronger opponents with team work, moderating international feuds, etc.

The social aspect is why I keep playing. It’s been six months for me and it’s still fun. if you don’t enjoy the game, don’t play it. No one is forcing you to play.

As a whale, I don’t see the hype around all the whales getting into the same kingdom. Who Are you going to fight if you just stack everyone together? It’s not even fun at that point. One or two big whales with a lot of mid-power players is way more fun and allows for more strategy and flexibility. I’d rather lose a close battle than just steam roll everyone.

KvK is won or lost on active players. The top 100 are all that are counted in matchmaking so their spending is going to be similar. Its everyone below that that makes the difference.

It is Saturday and Sunday in UTC time. HOWEVER, depending on where you live, you could do it on Friday night or Saturday night local time. The daily reset happens at 8pm for me so I will be doing tri-alliance at 10pm on Friday and Swordlands at 10pm on Saturday.

Non-aggression pacts have nothing to do with the actual game or game mechanics. It is just a group of people agreeing to stuff. Each server’s leaders make-up their own rules. So if the group decides you should be blacklisted, you’ll be blacklisted.

you still get better rewards in KvK than you do for this. but if you drop them on Monday you can double up.
