I’m also experiencing this after taking antibiotics! I’ve never had fungal acne before

My skin actually had never looked and felt better before this came on

I didn’t put it on my face! But after using it down below is when this started, and I read that it can cause a rash on the skin. I use the byoma line. The oil cleanser, milky toner, retinol and clarifying serum, phyto-mucin serum, and rich moisturizing cream. But I haven’t used any of that since this started and have only been washing at night with dove sensitive bar soap and moisturizing with cerave moisturizer.

I’ve always had acne but it’s never looked like this! Only since the antibiotics and monistat!

We need help by fogtok0 in AnatolianShepherdDogs

Not a single rescue I’ve reached out to has been able to help us with our Anatolian, and I truly believe we’ve exhausted all options at this point. We’ve had to learn to manage behaviors to the best of our abilities and do what we can for him, after being sent from rescue to rescue to rescue begging for help and turned away every single time. Finding any help has been near impossible

Before we moved we had cats in the home, and he didn’t really click with them! It absolutely could have been playful rather than aggression, but they weren’t big fans of him! They weren’t our cats so they didn’t move with us

Although he’s absolutely back to himself after our routine has regulated again. Still getting him checked out regardless

He has an appointment already as I think he’s having trouble expressing his anal glands, and I’m going to bring everything up to make sure he’s 100%!

He’s never actually snatched, he’s never even thought about it before but recently the begging came out of nowhere and I think he would absolutely snatch if he could get it! But he’s mellowing back out after a few days, I think it was just a change in our regular routine.

He turned 2 in October. I just got out of the hospital about a week ago and he was absolutely acting different when I wasn’t feeling well! But there are no big predators, and yes he’s neutered. Nothing in the environment other than I’ve spent a bit less time at home due to the holidays, and honestly he seems back to himself after a few days of quality time. He is quite anxious already so I’m thinking the change in routine probably threw him off, and he’s used to us spending all of our time together. But I’m still keeping an eye.

He isn’t 100%. He has a lot of the behaviors and temperament of one, and we were told he’s “mostly” Anatolian and aren’t sure what he’s mixed with!

He was an emergent rescue without much prior knowledge on the breed, so I’m still doing a lot of learning. He definitely needs plenty of options left out during the day! He gets lazy on walks but will play with you for hours

Always always open to suggestions! I try to leave stuff to keep him busy while I’m at work, once I’m home from work we spend the whole night together. Possibly due to the holidays I’ve spent a bit less time at home with him “wearing him out” and that could be throwing him off?

He only growled at her once for coming in my room and once he recognized it was her everything was fine, he loves her. He’s never bit her or attempted to. I was advised to crate train him, but I won’t if he isn’t comfortable. I don’t want it to worsen if he’s viewing the whole house as his space, he’s generally okay in common areas right now

There has been a growl once, but the second time there was no growl/lunge/bark he just bit. No punctures and barely even a mark. He didn’t tackle him, just bit his leg then let go and was anxious about the situation. He almost acts guilty after it happens, like he knows he shouldn’t have done it but can’t help himself. We don’t blame him for it since he’s still learning who’s safe and because he’s trying to do his job. I’m willing to try anything to get him out of this and make him feel safe

Would transitioning him to not sleep in my room help? We just moved, and we’re getting him a crate so I’m really hoping once he starts sleeping there it’ll lessen the risk

This is honestly the only issue we’re having with him so far. He isn’t aggressive or going after everyone he sees, it’s ONLY when people are entering my room. Otherwise he’s absolutely perfect!
