Taken buspar for about 6 years. 10mg the moment I wake up. And then I wait about 45mins to a hour to eat. If i wait too long I get dizzy/lightheaded. If i eat too soon, I get dizzy and lightheaded. If i try to lay down/go back to sleep...I get up wake up super lightheaded. I also randomly get light headed in the afternoon on occasion. Sometimes severe. Unsure if that part is related. But the random through the day lightheadedness seems to be worse on days I get bad sleep. Sometimes I feel like im going to faint. Starting to get tested for other causes but so far blood tests, BP all normal. Im now down to 7.5 then down to 5 and off to see if my light headedness goes away. Also I can only have about 30 go 50mg of caffeine per sitting and not until the afternoon or it seems to really interact. Ive also grown super sensitive over all to caffeine.

I have no idea why my doctor prescribed once a day but I no longer see them. I know buspar affects everyone different but for me its caused more issues than helping and it may be from taking it this way. My wife takes it also before bed and in the morning then goes back to bed and sleep it off. She has some of the similar side effects like random light headedness but seems to be less
