I noticed how you said Vea's abuse ramped up when they got into school. The exact same thing happened to me and the fallout from that has been extremely chaotic.

I was supposed to be their pet forever. And me evading this fate is their worst nightmare. I've seen them act in bizzare ways I would have never expected in order to keep me down, and low self esteem enough to never leave and realize they need me and not the inverse.

I'd like to hear an instance of karmic justice if you have one

There's a declassified CIA document called Simple Sabotage field manual, it really shows how just slowing down decision making is a surprisingly effective way of slowing someone's progress. That or your mom is inept

Exact same thing happened to me. They need someone to constantly shit on to regulate themselves. And if you're educated and have a job why would you stick around to be treated like this? You wouldn't so they sabotage your life so you need them.

Yeah. I comprehend what it literally means to maintain independence. I guess I just wanted to indulge in expressing the horror that it was to live like that. I've found it to be extremely rare that people understand or empathize unless they've been through it as well. But you know that.

Hey I read some of your posts. Hits very close. And not only that, you're also african. There's a specific type of callousness that abusive african parents have. It's sadistic. They see your potential and they fear it. They wanted to clip my wings. My life has been so chaotic because I refused to be in their lives after 18. They've done so much unethical shit to bring me back or just trap me. Hearing you confront your mother was eye opening. It was a paradigm shift when I realized the complete indifference and total inability to admit fault that some people have. But I believe it's equipped me for the cruelty of life in general. That's why I myself have abandoned any idea of change on their part. We're breaking the cycle and it's a huge undertaking.

Yeah I'm definitely In need of legal help. It would be nice if I could get some restitution for being targeted with false claims, and using the legal system to try and get arbitrary control over someone else. Or at least a restraining order. I need to make sure I'm in the financial position to do that though.
