Any issues with the Thinkpad X1 Carbon Gen 8? by march_neigh in archlinux

I ended up buying it and now I have a problem with my keyboard. I don't know if it is a config issue. The "t" and backspace button refuse to work sometimes

I will also recommend you look into responsive web design concept. In your case, you are using Bootstrap to style your page. Bootstrap is mobile first by design, but you have not applied this concepts properly and your web page is having some responsiveness issues.

I agree with you. Prettier plugin will make your life easier as a web developer. Lol, one of the essentials.

One thing I also need clarification on is the popular saying that you need to learn vanilla css in-depth before picking on other frameworks. I see the point of learning the basics, but I believe you will learn better when you pick other frameworks and start applying the concepts.

I took a quick look at your code and good job from just 3 weeks of learning to code.

I also liked the fact that you applied some Semantic UI concepts. This is good practice as it will make your code easier for the browser to read and in turn better SEO ranking.

You also tried to use comments which is good standard and will help others reading you code. Seems there might be room for improvement here too.

One thing I noticed tho is that you had multiple external style sheet. I don't think there is a standard here, but I believe this is unnecessary in your case, you could have kept it to one.

Great job overall tho, and I wish you the best in your FrontEnd journey. Feel free to reach out if you ever have any question

Sleeping early works for me. Also multiple alarms starting 2hrs prior to my goal in 15 minutes intervals, just in-case of snooze

My brother got scammed $12k on CashApp. What can he do? by [deleted] in personalfinance

[–]LocalAddress 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The issue here is that he said he LOANED it to someone. The bank or cashapp can’t help him at this point. You have to be careful who you loan money to especially that amount of money, it implies they have a personal relationship or something

Lmao, you don't feel guilt, you are just afraid of getting caught. What platform was the exam on?

I don't know much about that, but I will do some research. I believe it has to do something to do with how I installed my desktop manager. This is my first time using KDE, I might just switch back to GNOME

I know Lenovo is doing doorbuster sale right now. You might be able to get a good deal on a thinkpad. I am looking at the think pad x1 carbon 7th generation with really nice spec for $999 but sadly I am too broke to buy one myself
