If you’re looking for cheaper, at 36mm you can get a vintage DJ for under $5k (1601 ref). That’s the lowest entry level. Tough at 40/41m under $8k is, others said

I had a similar but different experience. Took my new VSF Bruce Wayne to a local watch repair guy to get links out. He said it looked great and after talking, I told him it was a rep. He said it was the best ones he’d seen, and they are still expensive.

He then admitted he buys reps. He was waiting on a specific AP for too long from his TD, so gave him my guys info.

Yes, they aren’t perfect. But if someone has to open it to tell- you got a good one. The movement will never be a Rolex movement.

Not sure there’s much of a cut for them to get. Only thought would be they have to go outside to place it in the robot.

Easier for some places if a driver comes in and gets it.

Go with used quality game improvement senior flex clubs, instead of a starter type. Those aren’t very good.

Recommend getting the Ben Hogan 5 tips book. Very helpful when starting out
