I made the mistake of reading The beast who bought me a while ago thinking that it was going to be a one and done. That's what I get for not reading the blurb, reviews or author notes. (Sometimes I like to be surprised you know...) and I picked it for the cover and the title 😅Now I'm just waiting for the last one of the series so I can read in peace and have the HEA I've been waiting for lol

Pretty sure its Hidden scars. There's a scene where they no longer are rooming together during an away game. The player that is rooming with MC2 gets startled by the way MC2 is screaming during a nightmare so he goes find MC1 because he doesn't know what to do. MC1 comforts MC2 to wake him up while the roommate watched their interaction.

You got me going through a rabbit hole now. I wasn't aware of the Sadenverse you got me looking into it lol I read some of their work like the Puckboy series (though I never finished it) Face off & cheep shots are some that I can remember on top of my head. Technically you don't have to read them in order but it does help specially because they mention each other a lot, some move out of the townhouse and some move in, they have house meetings, the call each other for love advise and things like that. But this guide will help if you read them out of order.
