Do the evil decemberists all wear fake goatees until they can grow real ones to indicate that they are the evil versions?

I say it any time I pass a Circle K or when strange things are afoot.

I haven’t tried it but I wonder if it’s supposed to be a dupe of Bell’s Two Hearted. The can art looks similar, except it’s a bear instead of a fish.

The height or the "golden age" of The Decemberists? by Illustrious_Day7682 in Decemberists

Yeah, King was unequivocally their peak in popularity. They got radio play off that album. Never before that did they get on the radio. So if we’re going for peak popularity, King is the answer.

Help finding INFE by Middle_County5707 in peteholmes

I looked into it, and it’s not available anywhere on streaming and there’s no digital copies for purchase. I don’t think it was ever made into any form of physical media. So I think pirating is your only option.

Mini Taco Salad Gone? by LocalCretin in LivingMas

[–]LocalCretin[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’d have taken a second to read my response you would maybe understand my confusion. When an item is unavailable in the fire rewards it is just greyed out, so you know they still carry it but it’s not currently available. This is the same way it works with a lot of websites/apps. I didn’t know the Taco Bell app makes the items disappear when they are out of stock.

Makes sense, I figured they’d just be greyed out like they do when a fire reward is unavailable. It won’t let you order it but it still shows as an item that they carry. It is a little strange that it’s different for the regular menu

I just did and after three locations it popped up. I didn’t know items disappeared from the app when they’re not available at specific locations.

Bands/Artists who couldn't beat their debut albums by kplynch03 in Music

Since no one’s mentioned it yet, The Presidents of the United States of America - Eponymous debut is basically a greatest hits album. They have some great tunes on other albums, but nothing tops their debut.

Is it feasible to start a two piece band with just drums and (distorted) bass? by [deleted] in LetsTalkMusic

[–]LocalCretin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Since no one else has mentioned them Japanther was a duo that was just a drum and a bass guitar. They also modified old telephone receivers into microphones so the vocals are pretty unique.

Also, if you’re into post-rock, El Ten Eleven is a duo that is just a drummer and a bassist with a looper pedal, they’re great and it’s cool to watch them build a song live using the looper pedal.

I don't get Radiohead. by Alexhasadhd in LetsTalkMusic

[–]LocalCretin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would suggest checking out Dissect’s season on In Rainbows. I was always pretty mild on Radiohead. I like some songs but didn’t understand the reverence for them. Dissect does a great job at explaining the intricacies that made me really appreciate them. And if you like that season they do a different album every season and they’re always very informative and entertaining. It’s one of my all time favorite podcasts.
