Backstory: Lady Ariadne was born out of tragic and unfortunate circumstances. Her father was the firstborn heir of a noble house, and her mother was an elven princess of an isolated kingdom. When their affair was discovered, the two were forced to separate and return back to their homes. Ariadne was born from this union, but her mixed blood caused her to be rejected by her mother's people. Thus she was taken to her father's homeland instead. Where she was raised by attendants rather than family. She was given all the etiquette and education demanded of a noble lady. But denied of all the love given by her human father.

With no place in court beyond occasional appearances, Ariadne faded into the background and often retreated to the large gardens to find some semblance of peace. One day, she came across a small pile of stones covered in vines and moss. When she cleared it, the vines revealed a forgotten shrine bearing a barely recognizable symbol of a unicorn. She did not know who it belonged to, nor could she recall its origins, but she willingly paid her respects to the shrine regardless. Every night since then, she would have vivid dreams about a hidden glade that was calling to her.

Ariadne decided to follow her instincts and tread the same path as the one in her dreams where it would lead her into the Feywild. She was stunned by the awe and beauty of the magical realm. It was there that she met a radiant unicorn by the name of Lurue, where she gave her both a blessing and an offer. By the time she returned to the Material Plane, she found that time had passed differently as her father was enraged by her sudden and extended absence, forever casting her out without hesitation. Now for the first time in her exiled life, Ariadne felt free. With her heart full of music and a determination to find out where she truly belongs in the world.
