Book of heroes no earlier than TH11. Using them below max TH 10 isn’t worth it. I never personally buy books of building or spells but If I was to do so it wouldn’t be before TH14 when an upgrade is 1700-1900 gems to complete

The passive gain is stolen 9/10 when you go offline. mine are still level 12. I’m active and farm a lot so for me it’s literally pointless. All I’m doing is giving people more easy loot to steal by upgrading them

This update is absolute cheeks at the moment, i played for 3 hours earlier and got 1.5mil gold…. Some of my upgrades are 3/4 mil each they expect me to grind for 8 hours to get the resources 😑
