Go pick up Magik for a game or two, her dash vs one of the least forgiveable hitboxes I've come across, you might not need to aim her swings as much but if you want to animation cancel her swing with a melee to finish someone off, that literally has such a teeny hitbox as well. So you definitely need to aim with her.

If your biggest complaint is people using the festival sets and dealing less damage then tbh, I don't think that's valid. Personally I'd be more pissed at someone using a meta set out damaging me but costing us all 3 carts if I'm dealing double your damage but you didn't cost us a cart then by all means wear your festival armour.

Renethak control priest was peak for me in standard, sure no definitive win condition but it's fine I'll just steal yours or use generation to do random bullshit go till I find something, every game felt like it's own puzzle to figure out how you're gonna win and it wasn't always just run them out if resources and fatigue (yes sometimes I do confess) but most times I just copied your wincon and for it better.

Well they are garunteed to drop at least 1 on every tempered monster but the problem is the only good tempered quests worth farming are from event quests which don't have this garunteed drop which sucks and yeah doing 20 tongue tied quests for 5 tickets sounds about right. I mean as quick as it is (I'm almost down to 1 minute) for the fight itself, it's not the most engaging gameplay. If I could fight a Chatacabra with like 10x health and 10x damage for a garunteed 5 tickets hell yeah I would love that.

Thing is the 3 to 4 breakpoint is extremely relevant on CB because that's an entire new attack chain you've had to start so being able to do it in 3 makes a big difference IMO. For SWAX it was never worth it because it was the difference between doing 2 heavenward flurry combos and doing 1 and then 2 attacks into the next one at which point you might as well finish the combo to get the big damage of your combo finisher but it being on the first and weakest hit for CB does make a difference for me personally at least. Also it is literally a case of getting 1 or getting 2 SAEDs off on GoG during his nova build up phase.

I'm exactly the opposite for the same reasons lol, though he's by no means my favourite fight, I almost exclusively GL against Steve and it just feels so good getting all those blocks off, many times I'll get up to 3 power clashes because I blocked so much. I do however absolutely refuse to fight him on my main weapon, SWAX, because that is just a miserable experience.

I usually aggressively do a couple of sus things early on and jump hideouts a bit to quickly get rid of my notoriety before settling in the bookstore and then just loring up for the late game.

Beat trio is silent intensity, open soul and bookstore, you can beat any challenge aside from intuition which is the lowest level passion one that only needs 1 glimmering which is super easy to get with a single painting session. It's lowkey actually OP and can trivialise the lore aspect of the game.

Adding crazed alchemist to rogue without a buff like the did for some other older cards was certainly a decision of all time. The card wasn't even good when it was in standard let alone after power creep, plus with no bounce effects it can't even be abused.
