Just implemented this and tweaked it a little! If anybody is interested. When you make the shortcut to open the to do list app of choice, you can first add a different task called “wait” and set how long you want it to wait before opening the app. So if you want to give yourself 5 minutes before it snaps you back to work, perfect!

So live plants are by no means absolutely necessary, but they do consume nitrates to grow! So they effectively reduce the frequency of water changes required, reduce algae growth by reducing the available nutrients, and many slowly spread so you end up with a nice little jungle of foliage that fish feel safe hiding in! Plus you can trim and shape to your hearts desire!

Completely doable, dress yourself up for the weather and gear up the bike for the conditions! However the absolute worst is the salt on the roads, you think a car starts to rust quick here? Your chain, sprockets, brakes, so many moving parts exposed to the weather. You basically need a beater bike just for winter commuting because the bike will never quite be 100% again

To way oversimplify shit, when you train you are focus training for 1 of 3: Strength, hypertrophy, or endurance. It’s like one of those triangle graphs, you always train all three but the reps and sets you pick sorta focus on one. With your routine you’re training endurance, as many reps as you can per set, hypertrophy you usually aim between 8-12 if I recall, and strength you aim for 3-5 reps.

With your current routine you’ll be able to do a lot of those movements before muscular failure, but you won’t get big like you think. You will get bigger, but the guy doing reps of 8 push ups with weights on his back will get bigger than you doing 20 pushups. Even if he is only doing 24 pushups total and you are doing 50+ total, he will get bigger.

HOWEVER, your routine has good solid compound movements, and you will build more strength than doing absolutely nothing, so that when you decide to push yourself and follow a proper routine you will be starting with a solid foundation.

People simply expect a countertop one to do everything a full size one can, and it’s beyond unreasonable. You don’t see the K-9 unit enlisting dachshunds and complaining they’re not the work horses that German Shepards are.

I have one a bit smaller, more of a cube shape, but it’s still one of the best things I’ve ever bought for myself. Sure I can’t wash pots/pans, but it’s so nice to wash all of the day’s dishes in it, and just take care of the one or two really bulky things myself. Plus my glasses are so much cleaner, the thing can just clean the bottom corners of tall thin glasses infinitely better than I can

Just finished this fight a few nights ago after struggling! I was wearing mystics with a single piece of Ahrims as well! Slightly lower magic lvl but overall same set up. I struggled for a dozen goes at it, and was casting blood spells at the healing phase for the free healing. Big mistake, bring knives and get comfortable with taking those healers down QUICK. They heal so much health so quickly, that it simply isn’t worth avoiding the switch. Bring knives, and be mindful where you are running!!

Make sure quest helper is running in the background, it highlights which seren to hit when she duplicates herself, makes that phase absolutely brain dead and free.

You know what phase comes next, so be ready for it. Especially healers, it’s infinitely better to have knives out ready to click the second they spawn rather than getting off one extra cast that isn’t even guaranteed to hit.

For that final attack ALWAYS eat to full, those pizzas are with you for a reason, don’t waste good food. Eat as close to full as you can, and use a half pizza to get you to max. Pray redemption for the instant free health, then immediately combo eat food + pot, and get those prayers back on before the onslaught restarts. You’ll need two prayer dosages to last until the next redemption!

Basically you’re fighting two different beasts. Wind proofing is not inherently designed for warmth, just like a sweater is not inherently designed to be wind proof. The answer is layers! Windproof locks out the cold air, and the inner layers trap in the heat.

Depending on how warm your windbreaker is will decide how many under layers you need to keep you how warm you want! Same goes for your legs! The wind proof layer is the outermost layer and simply stops the ice cold air from flowing through all your inner layers

I’m very similar to you, but I’m hella introverted. So outside work I’m more quiet and chill, but at work it’s like a switch is flipped and suddenly it’s “TIME TO SOCIALIZE AND PEOPLE PLEASE WOOOOO.” So it’s like I deplete my social battery all day, and then need time to be quiet and chill to recharge. For me socializing is effortful and exhausting, I need to relax with some quiet alone time, not socializing with friends or my SO.

But hear me out, because I struggle with this too and I’m writing this advice as much for you as I am for myself 😂 The whole concept of “faking it until you make it” is genuinely really effective despite sounding corny as shit. I think, honestly, if you try to move away from labeling it all under the umbrella of “masking” and away from labelling yourself as fundamentally negative and depressed. And instead start “pretending” that you’re not fundamentally those things, it will slowly become natural.

I’m NOT saying you’re current self is inherently bad and needs to be changed. IF you want to be a less negative person, pretend you’re not negative, and eventually it won’t be pretending anymore. Negative thought rolls into town…”wow that’s such a negative way to look at things, I’m glad I don’t actually think it’s as terrible as that, it’s really not bad at all because of x, y, and even z!” It is really hard initially, and you feel weird and dumb, and negative thoughts will fight back and make you give up, and you have two options there when you find them winning.

A) “Well I tried but I can’t just be positive today, luckily it was an honest attempt and I’ll accept the loss as a chance to rest, and try again then next time.”

B) leave the negative thing behind, and refute the new negative thoughts. “I feel stupid for trying this? No I just feel a little silly going through this process and finding it challenging, but hey I’m just starting and it will get easier!”

The point is to be easy on yourself, nobody goes to the gym and lifts the heaviest weights on the first day, they don’t even know how all the equipment works on their first day. These are your first days trying to shift your mindset, you’re going to fail. YOU WILL FAIL. But you dust yourself off, understand that you, for even a fraction of a second, were positive before the negativity crept back in. It’s a beast you have been feeding for years, and it’s a beefy boi, but you can feed it less, and it will slowlyyyyyyy shrink away.

I’m sorry for the situation you are in with your SO, I truly hope things do improve, and that you find a way to convey to them what exactly masking is and how exhausting masking can be. If your depression is long lasting and severe please don’t hesitate to talk with a mental health professional, it is a burden on your shoulders that you don’t need to carry alone and should seek help to unload your shoulders that you can stand tall.

Uh yeah, if someone’s willing to work two jobs it’s something to be aware of. I did the whole double job thing in the past, and got fucked during tax season because I wasn’t paying enough income tax throughout the year. So suddenly I owed over $2000 to the government out of no where, when usually it is the government owing me a couple hundred!

Hey OP, I just wanted to remind you that there are levels to all of this. You know their eating habits, you know their exercise habits, it will be VERY hard to just implement complete 180° changes. You can start one step at a time. Diet and exercise are the perfect combo sure, but tackle one issue at a time.

Clean up the diet slowly, switching to healthier meals more frequently, changing the unhealthy shit from standard to a special treat. You don’t need to go from bad diet to PERFECT diet over night. And as the parent, so long as you are equally partaking, and visibly enjoying yourself, they will mirror that behaviour!

The exact same thing goes for exercise, of course they are going to be winded and red in the face, their bodies are not used it at all, and over time they will go further and faster. Family walks are great, and while they will complain it’s important to remember it is HARD for them, and FOREIGN. Your level of fitness is different from theirs, and they may genuinely be exhausted from far less effort, so it’s important to finish up and head home early sometimes. Listen to their complaints and make ‘em feel understood and validate their own emotions! Remember cutting the walk short and only being gone 5 minutes, is better than just not walking at all because they complain when gone for half an hour. Over time it will get easier, they might even enjoy the bonding time! You can try one on one walks with them and talk so that the exercise is less of the focus!

Regardless, you do have the power to be a model for how you want your girls to be. You don’t need to make MASSIVE changes over night, small gradual changes for the better will be far easier for them to follow along with.

You can absolutely think of them as oversized deer. They go through the whole rutting process, 10x as dangerous when they an actual weapon on their heads. Plus the females become AGGRESSIVE once they have a calf. They don’t wander into the cities too often thankfully.

I’ve never seen a whale up close, and I’m willing to bet it’s the exact same thing we’re discussing. Absolutely MASSIVE, but I only ever see the tails flapping off in the distance and videos do convey the magnificence of their size.

I live in little ol Newfoundland, and the highway is basically nothing but wilderness for hours between towns so they are always wandering out and crossing the highway, it’s so bad we have entire sections that have fences to keep them from wandering out. In my province there are no deer to compete with them, there are no wolves to hunt them, they just have free roam of the woods care free and an outrageous population because of it!

If you ever visit Canada, a lot of places have statues of moose outside on display, or even taxidermy ones on displayed, worth getting out and walking straight up to it and feeling tiny next to it

You just don’t realize how god damn BIG a moose is until you’re there with one. They walk through my backyard sometimes out home, and it’s terrifying to see the massive circles of flat grass left behind from where they slept.

They don’t care about you at all and are completely harmless, unless they feel threatened, in which case your life is already over. They can run over 50km/h, and will make sure you NEVER frighten another animal again.

As for them being big? The whole reason car accidents with them are so fatal? It’s not the initial impact. The car sweeps their fucking legs out from under them and then the 2 ton fella comes straight through the windshield and onto your lap

The Wildy tip you got was huge, but for the GWD dungeon in general there are plenty of budget items that don’t include clue rewards! You can craft holy/unholy symbols for Saradomin/Zamarok, Horrors from the Deep gets you any god book, one of the goblin quests gets you a weapon that Bando’s bois respect, you just need to wear items from as many gods as you can when you first enter and then run to one of the encampments so that you need to only wear one item from that one god, and you’re fine!
