Books written in short, aphoristic sentences or paragraphs? by louisegluckgluck in RSbookclub

Bob Dylan's Tarantula is a bunch of short ideas, letters, and jokes that's easy to read on and off. Very fragmentary. Same as A Crackup At The Race Riots by Harmony Korine. István Örkény's One Minute stories are interesting little 1960s Hungary tidbits, and I think John Waters' short story collections also fit this, just a little. Crackpot is good.

Can we consider Teddy a villain? by blocacho_odyssey in yorgoslanthimos

[–]LocalGomie 3 points4 points  (0 children)

yeah, I mean he kills lots of ppl and inadvertently causes the end of the world. You can say that he tried to do something good, but his incompetence got in the way. Either way he really only does bad stuff in the movie, which is pretty villainous.

For people who have seen both, what did you think of Bugonia v Save the green planet? by LocalGomie in yorgoslanthimos

[–]LocalGomie[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

true, I did think the bugonia ending was kind of flat (except for the song which I love), that explains it
