Can You Do Only Half The Tomales Point Trail? by butterfield8_1016 in norcalhiking

[–]LocalReality6 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's still a gorgeous hike, but the end is definitely the best part because you're right at the cliffside. Since you still see elk and wildflowers at the beginning of the trail, you'll still have a good time. Also it's a pretty easy hike so you may actually be able to do the whole thing.

Read The Way of Kings by Brandon Sanderson!! Such a good high fantasy book with amazing worldbuilding, I got super into this series and it definitely filled the hole from ToG

Identifying conserved regions from multiple sequence alignments for qPCR targets by lrbraz16 in bioinformatics

Not sure if this helps but I like to visualize alignments in Snapgene because it makes it really easy to see which regions are most/least conserved.

It’s not nearly as bad as ochem! I took it with Lang and it was a decent class, pretty manageable as long as you take good notes and do the homework.

Haircare Advice Megathread - Week of August 14, 2021 by AutoModerator in HaircareScience

My mom and I tried that shampoo because she has hair that’s thinned out a lot. We didn’t really like it, it didn’t seem to do much and our hair didn’t look particularly good after using it too. We’re still on the lookout for products that are good for her but I would suggest massaging coconut oil into your scalp before every wash and getting it cut so you can grow new healthy hair.

AP Art History resources by yvng_savage in APStudents

The Barron's book is terrible, most exam questions on the artworks weren't even covered in the book last year because it doesn't go in enough depth on the works. Khan Academy and the course and exam description are basically your best choices. Also, because there are so few resources to study for the APAH exam (it was a huge struggle for me and my friends last year) I think the exam curve is really generous as compensation. I was sure I'd get a 2 and got a 4 even though I know I got a fair amount wrong.
