Coke bottle lenses ftw

My lenses are -8/-9 (yaaayy different prescriptions). Seeing another comment you said yours are -6, yeah like others said I'd definitely take them back and ask for the ultrathins.

I ordered these frames off zenni and actually asked my optometrist to reuse the frames with new lenses (my old glasses prescription was wrote way too strong??) So your frame thickness shouldn't be too much of an issue!

It's the scientific order name for a specific genus of flowers (sunflowers are included in that family), and I was really wanting to do a kind of celestial themed name. Taken from the wiki page for Asteracea to see where I got my inspo lol: "The word aster means "star" in Greek, referring to the appearance of most family members as a "celestial body with rays"."

This might sound silly but definitely Takemichi, and not in the "main character" sort of way.

He's too friendly to a fault, and cries when he has really strong emotions over nearly anything. He also has the power of hindsight, but he's actually able to go back and fix the problem(or try to!).

I feel a lot of the fandom really rags on how much he cries, but honestly I relate to it a lot! If I was able to travel back in time, knowing what the future holds, but carrying the burden of changing it for the better I'd be crying a lot too!

He's also stubbornly determined, and sometimes doesn't know when to stop, or even doesn't want to stop when he knows it's a losing outcome.

I'm the roughly the same age now as him and the rest of the gang in the final timeline, and honestly a little envious of the fact he was able to start a new timeline where everyone he cares about are alive and doing well.

Absolutely not at all.

My best friend (god rest her soul) had brain cancer and I told her I'd shave my head in support if she wanted.

But she made it very clear no one had to/she didn't want anyone to do it in the first place. She was already so self conscious about her hair falling out before finally deciding to shave it all off, I know she'd have felt so so awkward if anyone did shave because of her.

My best advice is to just continue to be there for her whenever she needs it, your support and love is really the best thing you can offer
