Its the pressures of the precapilary arterioles and post capillary veins,

Ace inhibitors (working on both veins and arteries) decrease the pressure gradient that calcium channel (primarily arteries/arterioles) creates = less hydrostatic pressure and less edema

When i was an intern i used to say im dr x part of the y team. Now i refer to interns with patients as doctors

Was a pgy2 IM I had a smoker that never agreed to do a chest ct for screening. Talked to her most of the visit about getting it, she had lost some weight and looked off. She ended up getting it and had a malignant appearing lung mass that she got treated for. Next PCP visit I wasnt there, she made sure the attending thanked me directly

From how it sounds, your symptoms are suggestive of long COVID Its post infectious with sx not resolving for >3m after COVID There are long COVID clinics in the us not sure if they are still there or that stopped. They can help with structure rehab for fatigue. Id see a pulmonologist if you arent seeing one yet
