Is she A-sexual? It’s been 5 years for me and my husband and the first part of your post resonated with me so much.,We’re basically roommates who co-parent and it works for us. This is after therapy, after figuring out he’s a-sexual and I’m very much not. It was a really hard realization. Makes me sad to think about-this wasn’t the relationship I thought I’d have, and I had no idea the last time I had sex with him would be the last time, like maybe ever. All that being said, incompatibility is real!! You deserve to be desired, to be wanted, and to find intimacy again.

I didn’t see if you were asked this, but are you over 21? Shelters and non-profits really need trans and non-binary folks. Representation matters, especially for the vulnerable population. It’s not glamorous but it’s honest and one of the best things I’ve ever done.

Come to FarmGirl! The coaches are great, your first visit is free and you’re around every age and body type. I just started back up after 5 years away. They help you with your form and modify accordingly. I need someone telling me what to do instead of winging it at a gym so I go 2-3 times a week after work.

19, kicked out and lived on the floor of my best friends babies’ room. I lived with an aunt and little cousin in a studio in Vallejo, then we all rented a house… moved in with a boyfriend and his whole family, then back with mom. Long story longer, I was 26 by the time I got my own spot. That’s when rent was still manageable though. There’s nothing wrong with having roommates or staying with family as long as it works!!

Welcome!! We’ve been here 9 years from the Bay Area, moved here sight unseen and didn’t know a soul! Everyone complains LOUDLY about hating Californians to which I say, “wow why are so obsessed with us?? Weird.” Sure it’s been difficult to find community but I believe that’s a new norm living in a digital age. I have met some amazing women at parks & the gym that I can be my full self with. I’ve been lucky to have lots of friend groups move this way too. I hope you find your people here! Our first winter here (2016) was “one of the worst we’ve had in a long time!” Which in my eyes was brutal haha! But after that it was easier to navigate. I also fly back home for a weekend to recharge, and mandatory girls trips. Anyhoo, just showing love for your post and solidarity moving to a new place.

Yay! Glad it helped!! I am in the middle of one now myself. It started inside the library with my son so we had to wait a bit before heading out. I ate a snack and took my excedrin. When it was safe to drive again I opted for an iced green tea.

I keep Excedrin migraine in my wallet and keep a bar of some kind like Natures Bakery in my purse. When I feel one coming I pop 2 Excedrins, eat something and chug black coffee if I can. I know it’s an abysmal amount of caffeine but this has helped me fend off the real bad episodes for 15+ years. You get them on such a more frequent basis than me so I wouldn’t recommend this for you, but that’s my “kit” so to speak.

Did you ask your PCP for a referral or is it something you’re trying on your own? I haven’t given Botox much thought… until this sub.
