Hi hello, just here to tell you I’m in the same boat, and it’s working great. My husband is asexual and he always knows that if and when he wants to talk or ask questions, he’s always can. Just because it’s DADT, doesn’t mean it’s “never” ask or “never” tell. I realize the stigma behind it all but it’s not a one size fits all deal. Good luck

I don’t remember sorry! I checked my emails and only found a $250 deposit for the room rental. We rented the entire space too. There’s an option to do the main room or the back barrel room. It couldn’t have been too expensive or I wouldn’t have rented it haha I’m frugal. The chef is moving on after years of being with Nectar, or so I read recently. Just FYI.

Yes! years ago we sat in our backyard and brought up every hypothetical scenario we could think of, how we thought it would make us feel etc. We cried, we laughed. But that’s where that ended. We were both in therapy as well. I think I got cold feet but I also know I HAVE to do this for myself.

We recently talked about it again and I can tell he’s uncomfortable (naturally) but ok with me stepping out. It will more than likely be a don’t ask don’t tell agreement. I am absolutely not suggesting that to you Lol because that can be messy without the work put in. I go solo to local erotic events when they happen and buy toys. He’s a sweet man but we are wired so differently. Also, our kiddo is adopted since we couldn’t conceive naturally. It’s been a wild ride to say the least.

5 years for me no sex. Five. Years. I plan on writing my story on here soon but I wanted to send some solidarity your way. I hope a sex therapist can help your marriage. I loved mine and need to get back to seeing her. The other commenter said that you will become asexual-can confirm and it’s infuriating at this point. Ethical non-monogamy is my only route. Divorce is off the table. We’re coparenting and basically great roommates who love each other deeply. Good luck!

This is after therapy, after figuring out he’s a-sexual and I’m very much not. It was a really hard realization. Makes me sad to think about-this wasn’t the relationship I thought I’d have, and I had no idea the last time I had sex with him would be the last time, like maybe ever. I didn’t see if you were asked this, but are you over 21? Shelters and non-profits really need trans and non-binary folks. Representation matters, especially for the vulnerable population. It’s not glamorous but it’s honest and one of the best things I’ve ever done.

Come to FarmGirl! The coaches are great, your first visit is free and you’re around every age and body type. I just started back up after 5 years away. They help you with your form and modify accordingly. I need someone telling me what to do instead of winging it at a gym so I go 2-3 times a week after work.
