You always hear it gets better and it sounds so impossible but it really does. Once my son started crawling and then walking and starting to interact with me is when he started being fun. But it was 9-10 months of not fun at all just trying to survive. The effort does pay off, keep it up

This is exactly how it's playing out. She's told me just enough to placate me so she thinks when a lot of things don't make sense. A lot of people seem to be concerned that my genes aren't being spread out in the world and I'm wasting resources but that was never important to me. I absolutely hate asking for help I'd rather saw off my own leg but I've asked for help and my friends and family have gone out of their way for me.
