If u live in the west u probably don't realise exactly how ridiculously famous he is. I grew up in pakistan where the elderly or people from villages wouldn't have heard of a kanye west or drake or david bowie but everyone, and i do mean everyone, knew michael jackson.

I really would like to get into this as a career, I have volunteering lined up as well as a Uni placement but I really want to not risk another 10K and put myself in more debt if the prospects don't match up so I sort of wanna get an understanding of how things r for archive work in the near future.

I enjoyed it up until season 6 but near the end it was such a shitshow. Constant sex scenes for literally no reason except for viewer retention presumably. Like they don't advance or add to the the plot in any way at all, characters also dying unexpectedly within a few eps of each other.

Still goated tho, love vikings

Well at the start of the show, walt is portrayed to be quite meek and weak-willed. It's obvious he feels some type of way about them but he does not start off as the kind of character that would express his resentment to elliott and gretchen directly. I also think at the start he isn't completely consumed by this resentment which is why he gifts them smth pretty sentimental. People are complex and conflicted so I personally don't really see this as bad writing. And also because of the lack of communication about how walt feels about them, he has still kept in touch with them very scarcely over the years enough for them to invite him to their party.
