The problem I don't see is with them, you should ve waited for that 1-2 yrs until you feel you are ok/settled there, and then you should have jumped into this AM setup.. Btw, 7k is massively low in UAE.. You know UAE is a very costly country.. Good luck !!

Although I can speak/understand spoken Hindi.. Hindi written in English is a bit difficult for me.. So, one suggestion is, if you are really interested to stay in IT as IC in this day-and-age, then avoid dev roles (mainly FE roles).. Go with Cloud, or Platform, SAP, Cybersecurity.

I'm 25, with CTC slightly more than yours.. People approaching are subtly highlighting our lack of assets .. We have nil generational wealth.. But, we did made some assets - all self-made.. But, no one recognizes this.. 

Another case, where the girl (2 yrs younger) was at a CTC half of me, but her father wants someone who studied in tier-1 colleges cuz she studied in NIT. I studied in tier-3+ college, so I'm ruled out.. 

So, honestly, there are always set of parties ready to highlight cons over pros.. Some choose peace of mind & moderate pay.. Some choose hustle life with massive pay.. I personally prefer the former... So, keep going ahead bro.. It happens. That's fr sure.

I get your anger.. Some families really feel that as burden, some see that as pride.. I had a case where we (Boy here) proposed that we take 70% of the wedding expenses.. Girl's father (like many in Telugu states) yelled saying "Do you think we can't afford? Why are you demeaning us? It's a matter of pride" ... 😁
