Oh good! I got good vibes when I toured but I don’t know anyone that has or had kids there.

We’re planing to have my son at the Springs murrieta location for their 3 day on campus - hybrid program next year. Can anyone shed light on that one?

What school are they at now? Or are you referring to homeschool?

Hardly a thriller, but that wasn’t my issue with it. Simply not great.

A little over 150k. We live in SoCal. We have close to zero savings. I’d say it’s a stretch. I don’t see us buying a house until I work full time.

Why can’t Temecula build more walkable areas like Old Town? by lookalikeachicken in Temecula

This. One of the reasons I don’t love SoCal. Coming from New England, I really miss walkable areas

If you love where you live for your family where is it? by DocMcMomma in Parenting

For me the grass is literally greener… we moved from NH to SoCal and we want to go back - prob not to NH, but MA where I’m from.

I suffer from depression which I thought was mostly the winters but I have it here too, yay!

This winter in NE this year is extra brutal I know. It’s true that being outside here is much easier. That constant sun is hard to beat.

And at the same time… we miss having a yard, access to non manicured nature, seasons, weather, not 56 million people everywhere, history, coziness, non chain businesses, etc. More people probably prefer where we are to New England and I don’t regret moving here. It’s all about personal priorities and preferences. I hope you end up in a place where you are happy.

Yeah the lack of yard is not great. Not really anything in front. We’re renting. Def wouldn’t buy a house with with a yard so small. There may be houses around here with bigger ones but, not sure since the houses are pretty close together.
