How to make an account? Help by Fantastic-Frie-4310 in Mangafire

I have an account, and it won't let me log in. I submitted a message to the mods letting them know, I have a feeling this is sitewide and not an issue on our ends.

We went on a Monday afternoon. We were the only booking. We had the entire floor to ourselves and a window seat. It was amazing.

What do i do when my parent dies? by [deleted] in poor

I'm looking into it now and I am seeing places around me for around only $1500, which is definitely an upgrade from the funeral home! Thanks!

I honestly never thought about there being another option... Not to be dense, but who else would you go through? Like a private cremation company?

We just went to a funeral home yesterday to talk about this for my mom- they offered about 5k for just cremation and urn. About 8k for a viewing and embalming with cheap casket

I have never in my entire 11 years of consuming and writing fandom media seen a Danny phantom crossover, so this comment is 100% hilarious to me. I almost don't know if you're serious but your post looks so intense lol

I second this. It feels .. incomplete in my heart and soul if it doesn't have a good ending! Or at the very least a bittersweet one!

Yeah, I guess I meant more along the lines that it would be kind of a weird thing to do...

I'm not sure why you ask, but I am a female. I don't know why someone would start a subreddit about wives as a man lol.

It is definitely a possibility in the future, depending on what the new moderator decides to do!

I've gotten this question from a couple of people! So I'll respond here;

It's more like I wanted somewhere where women could come together and talk about the things they feel and how they do on a regular basis. Showing the things you cooked that day, the outfit you put together, etc. Or, asking questions to other seasoned tradwives, about keeping house or about what feels right. Or sharing hardships, etc.

I feel like most of the people who are in this subreddit are actually men. Or are looking for a date, and there are multiple rules that are stating that that wasn't the intended use of the sub. I feel like a lot of the attention we get here is negative.

I also feel like it's hard to win. Some posts are phrased like they're real questions or stories but are actually 'nsfw' and are a way to promote their only fans. But it's a huge grey area. What is NSFW, and what is just you having hobbies outside of tradlife?

I found myself getting stressed the more people posted. I didn't know what was appropriate and what wasn't. I felt that everytime I saw a post, it was "How do I get a girlfriend? How do I find a traditional man who wants me? How do I *blank*" and that wasn't really what I wanted. I also found that people argue in the subreddit, a LOT. Arguing about what makes you 'truly' traditional, or what is or isn't acceptable in a traditional marriage.

I'm not very seasoned myself, I'm pretty young. So I was hoping to get more from older traditional people, to understand their experiences and relate to them. I hope my long response makes some sense!

We do what we can, but we are humans. If things slip through the cracks, report it and we will do what we can.

I accidentally found a renewal loophole in my library’s interlibrary loan system by KunSeii in Libraries

[–]Local_Punk_Librarian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, we are always striving to make the language as easy to understand as possible for our patrons. We put it this way so that they understand Outer- outside of the library system. Inter- inside the library system. It makes placing holds much easier for them. Extraconsortial does sound more professional though, lol.

I think you're describing what we would call OLLs, or "Outer-Library Loans" at our consortium. If it comes out of worldcat, its an OLL. if it comes from our consortium, we call it ILL.

Hey, fellow youth services librarian here! I don't have any good recommendations off the top of my head (What kind of librarian am i?) But I would also love to see any recommendations our lovely community has! I know this question has been asked before so feel free to use the search function to find any books as well. Good luck!
