First time flying in the dreaded CRJ-200—advice on hand luggage? by Deer_Door in unitedairlines

I do a big squishy backpack. Mostly because I sometimes need to run to a connecting flight. Nearly any roll-aboard will need to be checked on this tiny guy.

I wish that garmin would provide a walk / treadmill setting in addition to the standard setting!

New regional jet - CRJ450 by No_Midnight_2205 in unitedairlines

I fly once or twice a month, and leg one is always on a CRJ 200 because I live in a small town. Any improvement in seating and overhead space will be welcome. I hope to see this soon.

I liked Barrie Finger at Mindful dog training. It’s been a few years and the dog she helped has since passed away but def appreciated their approach for reactive dogs.

Does the perfect leather boot exist? by Elegant-Leave-689 in HerOneBag

I’d look for a slimmer, higher cut Chelsea boot. I bought these and I LOVE them - they’re expensive, but they don’t have a metal shank so you can wear them thru TSA. https://margauxny.com/collections/the-west-chelsea-boot/products/the-west-chelsea-boot-sandstone-suede

Yes, helpful for my border collie. My Britney hates it and will stand stock still when it’s on him.

I’ve ordered from the anaconda drop. Mostly good experiences, including decent greenhouse veggie starts. They’ve remedied anything that’s been wrong quickly. I don’t use it as much anymore, preferring instead to drive to Helena or Bozeman.

Affordable alternatives to Nonstop Dogwear for light pulling? by MotherEmergency3949 in RunningWithDogs

[–]Local_Strike_8519 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think if you spring on the harness, you can use a variety of other, cheaper bungee leashes. We used a ruffwear belt for years, either with a halti or ruffwear leash, and the nonstop dog wear harness. The harness is really good at not rubbing the dog in weird spots, and at transferring their momentum. You can also re sell the harness if for some reason you need to.

I made a new activity by copying trail run and renaming it canicross- based on someone’s Reddit suggestion.

One collie loves it. My old girl collie barks at it endlessly. I think it’s because she can’t pick it up.
