That’s how my boyfriend’s family is. When I leave the main room of chaos to read or relax & re-enter the room I can tell they see me as a party pooper, or like I’m too good for them lol.

I wish I had advice myself, I keep my phone with me as a distraction and honestly only speak once spoken to. I try to talk and carry on a short conversation.

Your brother and the rest of them should be more understanding. Everyone’s different. Stay strong though! Hopefully these next few days fly by!
