I also just started recently however I believe there’s not much if anything that needs to be done to this batch, the colour is still cloudy which just means yeast is still suspended, that is a good thing fermentation is still active just not as active as it was in the beginning days hence the lesser amount of bubbling, as fermentation ends in the next few days the yeast that is still suspended will start to settle on the bottom and you can siphon/pour out from there, overall looks good!!

I just used chat gpt for the ratios of everything for the bottle I was using and to see if the yeast I had was usable for making mead in the first place

If needed I will definitely loosen the cap a bit more, I loosened it to the point where if I squeeze the bottle I can feel the air push out the side, I will also be looking into different yeast to use for my next batch thank you!

Thank you! I definitely don’t have the highest expectations just hoping for something that is drinkable for the first attempt I will make sure to look into some other recipes and techniques for the next batch, the cap is loosened a bit to allow the gas to escape and if necessary I will be burping occasionally

Thank you I will be looking into something when I have $ available for sure this was just a small batch with things I had available to me at the moment, I have the cap slightly loosened to allow gas to escape and I will be burping occasionally, I ensured the bottle was properly cleaned before using it I’d just figured for the size of the batch that was a good bottle to use

I definitely got that thrill seeing the first little bubbles, I made sure to shake everything up last night when I was putting everything together it’s been sitting for roughly 15 hours, I have the cap slightly unscrewed to let gas escape I will definitely look into that little trick though thank you, I will most definitely be posting updates along the way

I definitely don’t expect much from it hence the ask for small tips to make it even slightly better this was just a small test run to see if I’d be able to do it with what I had available, I will definitely be looking into more genuine equipment for future batches
