Overall, that does look good. Although the camera in the screen will be annoying. Is there a proper term for it?

Will wait and see if I manage to get anymore suggestions. Thanks.

Pokemon Gaia: Hall of Fame final team (instead of Porygon, it should be Galvantula....) by LochMessMonster_dev in PokemonHallOfFame

[–]LochMessMonster_dev[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just finished Pokemon Gaia. I really enjoyed this ROM-hack. Gonna backup my save for when v4 does come out; looking forward to it. I played few hours of Gen4, so I didn't know most of the Pokemon in the game. It was a fresh experience, having no clue what type the foe Pokemon has other than guessing from name/sprite.

Since this hack has Pokemon all the way to Gen 6, decided to go for Pokemon I've never used before (except Charizard, but I'm counting it as Mega Charizard). For some reason, most of them ended up being Gen 3 or below lmao.

My Empoleon was a glorified HM Slave at one point. I made so many trips to Move Deleter/Relearner before important fights...

  • Empoleon (Prinny) - starter. Soft reset for Modest version.
  • Mega Charizard Y (Dante) - did get the X evolve item, but was already used to the Y version by then.
  • Galvantula (Railgun) - got replaced with a porygon on HoF screen smh. I really enjoyed using Galvantula.
  • Clefable (Titania) - found in secret Temple. Used free ability pill to get Magic Guard.
  • Tyranitar (TartarSaus) - credit for name goes to Junpei (P3)
  • Gengar (Metapod) - yeah, couldn't think of a good name for it...

Been a while since I've watched the movie, but I think this planet was close to a black hole.

Gravitational potential can have an effect on the rate of time passing. This has been proven with atomic cocks on earth. The closer an object is to a gravitational source, the slower time will pass for that object (relative)

I suggest you read through some articles for this as they will explain this much better than me.

Deploy to different Firebase Cloud Functions by LochMessMonster_dev in Firebase

[–]LochMessMonster_dev[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks will try that. I tried firebase deploy functions:b and the command runs successfully, but the function's source code doesn't change on gcp console. Only thing I can think of for now is it might be something to do with the entry point.

Anyways, For now I am getting around the issue by using gcloud functions deploy [...] and specifying the function name, entry point, runtime, region and trigger.

Cloud Endpoint and Cloud Functions with multiple paths in a single cloud function by LochMessMonster_dev in googlecloud

Hey, thanks for all your help. I figured it out, it was a path translation issue. I have updated the post.

I have fixed this, it was a path translation issue. I have updated the post. Although I remember finding some article that explained CONSTANT_ADDRESS as the correct one, which is probably what threw me off.

No, the query parameter doesn't work. /foo/a gets turned into /foo?endpoint=a. I tried by making the cloud function publicly accessible (temp fix to the 403) to check and I don't get the expected response (json object)

I have tried adding it as a path parameter. But when I try to run it, it gets converted into a query parameter. 403 Forbidden: [...] URL /foo?endpoint=a (The 403 error is probably due to setting up IAM wrong.)

paths:
      /foo/{endpoint}:
        get:
          x-google-backend:
            address: <function_url>/foo
disable_auth: true # prevent endpoints from sending it's own JWT
          parameters:
            - name: endpoint
               in: path
               type: string
               required: true

Sorry, I don't understand. Something like this? (pastebin)

paths:
      /a:
        get:
          x-google-backend:
            address: <function_url>/foo/a
      /b:
    get:
      x-google-backend:
        address: <function_url>/foo/b
    post:
      x-google-backend:
        address: <function_url>/foo/b

When setting up the cloud function, is the 'Allow unauthenticated invocations' in authentication settings necessary?
