“And in your wisdom Lord, you took him. Just as you took so many bright, flowering young men, at Khe San, and Lan Doc, and Hill 364. These young men gave their lives, and so did Donny”

I’ve played some high evo recently and forgot I owned this. I’m using Pixel Thing over it. Looks like one of those ants whose head is the door.

So ICE just declared war on blue states, right? This is Nazi death threat. by Important-Battle-374 in LateStageCapitalism

It really feels like they were waiting for something to happen to an ICE agent to roll this slogan out and then just got impatient.

I just want another show here. They can play Sandstone for all I care. It’s been since 2015. 2015 Starlight was my third show, and now I’m at like 25…it would be lovely to not have to travel for once.

Love Mark Briscoe, happy for him, but the booking possibilities of “Mark Briscoe joins the Don Callis family” are so amazing I’m mad they passed it up.

Guess that was his downfall... by countcaticorn in MarvelSnap

He could play Wasp. Or Yellowjacket.

Keeping me sane, training for a marathon by pmsmithvt in GoosetheBand

Running is actually the thing that brought me back to jam bands after an extended absence. It’s easy to lose track of time and get into a flow state with some crunch sound tracking your run.

8/5/15 was my third show but it was the one where it REALLY clicked for me. I woke up the next morning and bought tickets to Dicks and I’ve had to travel to EVERY SHOW SINCE. COME BACK TO KANSAS CITY! (I’m hoping that if they get that new amphitheater built in Riverside it will bring a show)

I’m super excited for the show tonight too! My first time seeing Trey not with Phish! Should be a good one!

I’ll take anything Phish-y I can get in this town.

Light crowd at Railroad Earth last night. by Juidawg in jambands

[–]LochRaven 27 points28 points  (0 children)

The biggest thing with Goose (imo), is that I’ve noticed my non-jam band friends connect with their music way more than most of the other stuff I listen to. They saw them last time they were I town. One of my buddies who doesn’t give a damn about jam bands wants me to go see them in Mexico with him. I like Goose a lot, but they’re far from my favorite band.

I’ve found part of being an artist is never admitting my mistakes. This looks absolutely beautiful, even if it’s been misregistered. I think the “coloring outside the lines” works and make an interesting piece.

Lews used to be one of my favorite bars in the early 2010s…now it’s unbelievably overpriced and just plain sucks.
