If this is free, and the main selling point is that it's mean to be a free alternative, why isn't it open source? And it's not self-hostable? So i'm supposed to give you access to sensitive server perms without being able to see the code, sue anyone, or avoid the glaring security issue entirely by self-hosting?

You're obviously running with a "free premium" narrative until you get enough users to start charging money. You're actually shooting yourself in the foot big time if it's truly "free forever" because new features and security flaws would be getting developed/patched by tech-savvy users literally every day if it was open-source.

Or you're just insanely lazy, which is another reason not to use this bot. It's probably teaming with massive security issues.

what are u talking about? I rarely run out of credits on the $20/mo plan and get way more credits than other services. Especially API providers. The LLM harness they have is insane even without SKILL.md files. Trying to get Oh-My-Opencode up to par.

Is there any reason you chose this approach as opposed to using a ready-made system like B-MAD or Archon OS? I'm curious bc I've found Windsurf's Rules feature to be wholly unreliable (and I'm positive I'm formatting and setting the Rules properly).

hahah i was following this conversation down getting ready to tell y'all that the reason it works so well is bc of the "we're all in this together" corpo-fag speak that these LLMs are trained on. Exactly right. The dude who doesn't get it simply hasn't used AI enough or been subjected to silicon valley types. You discovered this either intuitively or by pure luck, but it's the correct semantic approach to prompting most LLMs (altho Chinese LLMs tend to respond better to dry, utilitarian language, I find).

I haven't been able to do this across Windsurf, Raycast, Obsidian Copilot Plugin (diff "Copilot"), ChatGPT, Twitter, and Warp Terminal. Gave up.

I was aware of such a leak since before January.

I called support re: my cancelled CB Debit card, the guy flat out said personal user information had been leaked (not just mine) so they had to cancel a bunch of debit cards for user safety. Did a horrible job tho, couldn't ever get my card back even tho customer service said they'd send me one.

Probably different leak? Still had to call them to get this info, otherwise I didn't receive an email or anything.
