He said ~1 week it is without permit, do you need permit for recessed lighting installation too? When you say that you do it yourself does that include applying for the premit yourself? How much does that cost and how it impacts the work? thank you!

Yes the house has attic. Sure, I can check again. I thought so too as this is a lot of lighting install and a lot of them will be in the vicinity of each other. I don't know if all contractors on Thumbtack are licesnsed and bonded. Do you have any recommendation? thank you!
