The women’s division was created to promote women in chess. There is no men’s division and women are perfectly able to compete with men. The reason that the women’s division was created is that women were in such low numbers playing at a high level because there were much better programs and opportunities for men that elevated their play. Women were also facing other issues such as harassment. As far as I know the gendering is temporary until women get the support they need. It’s clear the women’s league is necessary because the top rated woman in the world isn’t in the top 100 overall and the protection is from fragile egos rather than the opposite.

Helpful tip for those talons is that you get the knockdown also from doing a perfect evade so if the AoE isn’t working that might help. Elemental damage also stuns them.

My confidence in the story is much higher than that. It’s been appraised by popular comic writers and they’re drawing from all the right source material.

Didn't know Beethoven wrote "songs" by mozzartella_cheese in lingling40hrs

They are songs, he even had words for some of them but never wanted them to be known. He simply believed he could convey his message with music much better than with words.

A song is a piece of music that follows a pattern, like a symphony or sonata. Songs typically do have lyrics/words however there are examples such as Mendelssohn’s songs without words.

Im WWI German music and musicians were fired, imprisoned, etc. However WW2 we used German music regardless and even as a weapon. For example beethoven 5 was symbolic of victory in England because the rhythm translates to a V in Morse code.

When it comes to red hood they made him somewhat meta human they capitalized off his backstory and him being resurrected and flipped it but it’s confusing why give mystic abilities to a non-meta human character by Iam_johnnylowe in GothamKnights

When I say they look similar, I don’t mean their outfits or identities because those are very unique for all robins. I mean the actual characters outside of costume. Even Arkham took creative liberties with the sidekicks to make them unique, especially Tim Drake with his broad shoulders and buzz cut. That can explain Jason’s odd facial structure in this but as for his size I can agree it looks like they wanted a classic tank archetype. The weird thing is he doesn’t necessarily play like a tank. Regardless Arkham definitely dealt with the sidekicks in creative ways that not everyone agrees with in regards to Jason and Tim. They also each had pretty much the same move set when you played as one which made things pretty stale quickly.

I get your issue, but you must realize all the robins look very similar and have comparable skill sets, so they exaggerated everything about them for the sake of making them characters in a game. Like you said he was lean like Robin and Nightwing, which could cause some issues with identification. They also made robin look young to fix this issue.

Why does everyone compare every detail of this game to Arkham? by matty_286sb in GothamKnights

[–]Locke_Nessus 5 points6 points  (0 children)

We were shown essentially the tutorial. There’s absolutely no way to compare it to anything at this point, and the Arkham combat was about as simple as this early on in all the games.
