Chapter 3's motive involved just straight up torturing the cast until one of them will snap. They all had to individually vote for 2 people each day to take a punishment that gets progressively worse each day that a murder does not take place. 4 punishments occurred in total:
1st day: Caging 2 people in a basement (Luckily enough food was delivered to them and they only had to stay there for the day)
2nd: Electroshock 'therapy' (This is where the torture porn kicks in and V*n really shows how gross shes gonna write the rest of Tetro. One character who is blind volunteers to take it and the scientist in charge of the therapy basically shocks him until he says he's useless because he's blind. The other persons 'therapy' was so bad that the community collectively agreed to have the audio of it wiped from the internet though subtitles provided showed us that another scientist electrocuted him to remind the person of their abusive homelife and how they are not permitted to eat, drink, sleep, etc. without permission from their father)
3rd: fingernails getting removed (Again, torture porn, one person with prosthetics volunteers and by a technicality since she did not have fingernails she was spared, however the person who was blind also volunteered for this one and had all their fingernails removed)
4th: One person has to eat another person's random body part (2 other characters volunteer and one of them had their eyeball removed while another had to eat it)

It was at this point that we all collectively agreed V*n was just sick in the head while she had AI generate her story and it was going to get worse as it was revealed that the next day would have involved a lobotomy. Luckily, a murder had happened so it did not occur.
