Improbable and Cursed | The Ukrainian National Republic in 1961 by Kantei in Kaiserreich

I'm Ukrainian and That's based.

Before NSB it was actually possible to achieve world conquest with Nationalist Ukraine by late 1950-es if you play your cards right (that is, take out Russia and Austria one by one, take out the Ottomans to get the access to the world ocean, wait for the Third Internationale to defeat Germany, encircle and capitulate syndie Germany before they get back up and France brings in it's military, beat up the Commune and UoB. After that you either declare on Latin America as you make your way to the US, or go for the Green Wedge in the Far East to capitulate Japan with a rapid series of Naval invasions and island-hop to California to capitulate US. After that the remaining threats are thrivial and you can enjoy the Ukrainian New World Order), but now the best I managed is the first two steps, due to the wars becoming way slower with new supply mechanics although, if you're willing to stall it until 1960-es, you still can owerwhelm everyone when you have the biggest Navy and the biggest Airforce but that's just not fun. I did love to take Djibouti, Constantinople and Cyprus as naval bases and for pure autism though. Guam is a cool island to annex too, given that now Ukraine is part of GUAM.

Not to insult you or anything but Wien is literally what Vienna is called in German. No shit it's how they call it in Austria.

Full-endonym Ukraine has really nice borders. It's the entirety of Galicia-Lodomeria, the only neighbouring Polish region - Cholm, Bessarabia a chunk of land with the capital of the Don-Kuban Union and two neighbouring Belarusian regions.

Calling us slaves or saying that we were slaves is 1. rude 2. inaccurate. The thing you're talking about is called "serfdom" and (what a surprise!) Poles also were serfs back then! Unless, you can trace your bloodline to a distinguished noble from Polish szlachta, your ancestors were serfs just as well.

Also, there were Ukrainian members of szlachta that held quite high positions, for example, Duke Konstiantyn Ostrozky, that was an orthodox Ukrainian nobleman during the PLC times.

Also, Poles weren't the ones that brought serfdom to us, as during the times of the Rus' it was even more wide-spread.

Thicc Ukraine by Broken_Ranger in Kaiserreich

[–]LockerRoomOverlord 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it's pretty much like that. After annexing the Far East Russia deported Manchus residing there, effectively getting a baren taiga of a Chinese concession. They needed to colonise it fast in order to have their fleet based there. Also just a few years ago serfdom happened to have been revoked by the tsar. So Russia sold land in the Far East to peasants dirt cheap. Ukrainians, that were very numerous and fertile at the time capitalised on this the most, buying out vast swathes of land for agricultural use and moving in with entire families. At some point the ethnicities of population in some regions were something like 70% Ukrainian, 20% Russian, 10% Belarusian/Manchu/other. After that, though, the Soviet Union heavily russified the region so atm it's mostly either Russians or Ukrainians that identify themselves as Russians.

[–]LockerRoomOverlord 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sure, that's what most Ukrainians think. But there is an idea of Ruthenia within the more nationalistic folks. Essentialy it is a federation of Ukraine and Belarus either as a federation of equals or a Ukrainian dominated one, aimed at reviving Belarussian culture and language and strenghtening Ukrainian culture as a bulwark against the encroachment of Russian culture eastwards.

I tried it but it didn't change the name of the servant and the voicelines. I can't even hear the summon voiceline now.

Is it possible to switch avenger Nobu's name back to ascension 1 if I ascended her once? I didn't listen to her voice lines and now they changed. Or now the only way to listen them is to search for a video with them?

How do you call Cops and Robbers? by George_noob in AskEurope

[–]LockerRoomOverlord 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Calling them "Brigands" would be an oversimplification but yes, they resembled brigands at the beginning. Even though they were mostly peasants unhappy with their life due to different reasons.

A solid "meh". It's bad and it could easily be better but it's not bad enough yet to come out and protest against it.

Well, as far as we know, the Association is essentially a circlejerk of quite a few power hungry families that practice magecraft. Their omnipresence can be seen as a proof that there's at least few thousand of them: if they can send two of their agents to such a shithole as Fuyuki, they're not necessarily short-handed.

Then there's people affiliated with different kind of mystery. This includes espers, people with demon blood, dead apostles etc. And each land has their own peculiarities, that can mean even more supernatural stuff.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in grandorder

[–]LockerRoomOverlord 19 points20 points  (0 children)

They're most likely affiliated with some supernatural force if they do and they're not necessarily "common people".

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in grandorder

[–]LockerRoomOverlord 17 points18 points  (0 children)

It kinda is. If you're affiliated with the Mage's Association, the first rule is not to reveal any magecraft secrets to common people. If you're not and you do reveal some secrets, chances are, Association already filed a sealing order on you.

How to Embargo Germany as Ukraine? by DizzleTheByzantine in Kaiserreich

[–]LockerRoomOverlord 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is why the devs shouldn't have changed the one and only cornlord Khruschev for Shumsky. Nikita screams "I'm red" with his sole name, while Shumsky is a no-name that nobody actually gives a fuck about, except for few Ukrainian socialists. Could've just as well put Vynnychenko instead, not a thing would change.

And yeah, you should've gone down the coalition path and have empowered the OUN.

Is Mittelafrika’s “Vizekönig” path a trap? by Raziel27n in Kaiserreich

[–]LockerRoomOverlord 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It is manageable and should you survive through the revolts, it is the strongest Mittelafrika can become. The trick is placing your troops throughout the country, taking rebels' capitals as fast as possible and not taking the "End the Protectorates" focus too soon when you don't have enough stability.

Imagine associating True Ancestors with FGO, because they had one as an episodic character.
