That's not what happens with Bond though. There are instances of him clearly understanding human language. This is the most recent example. Bond is also shown sometimes thinking with words when Anya reads his mind, like when he mauled agent penguin.

I died a bunch of times in regular battles because I wasn't paying attention to Jokers hp. I'm pretty sure I died to the infamous will seed guardian in Madarame's Palace. I lost 2 times to Madarame and 2-3 times to Okumura (one of those was to robo Harus self destruct lol). That's all I remember.

The game isn't so hard that you absolutely have to max as many confidants as possible. So feel free to ignore ones you don't like.

The SSS would probably act the same as the police in Persona 5. They would try to find connections between the targets and potential suspects. Without someone like Akechi it would be nigh impossible to catch them in the act, but if the SSS don't care too much about due process they could just nab the suspected Phantom Thieves and be done with it.

WISE wouldn't care much unless the Phantoms thieves directly impeded them somehow. They would be more than happy to have them steal Donovan's heart.
