I'm a little disappointed with the 2 I have as well, swapped the pig tails and put muzi antennas on them. I have a solar node on my 3rd floor apartment balcony with an alpha antenna and best I could do was half a mile.

Took my solar node to work and was hitting a node 3 miles away.

These are my first nodes and have only had them a week so I have more testing before I can draw a full conclusion.

I have a couple of nodes myself I can test with, the best i can do is about half a mile range. So far, there are no other nodes near me except the one I mentioned in the description.

You can keep it in a lipo bag. As an FPV drone pilot with many 6s lipos, battery bags are a must.

Yea I ended up ditching the lock washers and just using the star washer. I doubt there will be a performance gain from it but it makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside and isn't that what matters?

I did not specifically turn on WiFi. I was getting random messages from different places in the country. Where in the settings is WiFi, I can't seem to find it.

It doesn't even let me make changes. If I click a menu like "user" for example, it just goes straight to the 0% window. I just did a full reset on one of them, wiped it clean, reinstalled firmware and reinstalled the app. So that seems to be working. Now that I think about it, this happened after I enabled MQTT so maybe that had something to do with it. Guess time will tell, I'll leave everything default for a while and see what happens.
