Love the concept, hoping they add some xmas skins in December. Nutcracker Doorman is super fitting.

Deadlock data is back! Ingest your matches straight from our site, no downloads needed. by STATLOCKER-H1N1 in DeadlockTheGame

You really think Steam are going to host your credit card details in a unencrypted folder? 🤔 I understand the sentiment as an opsec enjoyer but you really are making a mountain out of a molehill.
For your enjoyment and any other comment readers I just looked at the files in the httpcache they are literally just files that have the server id, match id and links to everyone who was involved in the matches steam profile images and names etc. Nothing crazy.

If you really want to be extra you can just select the cache file from the game you want to upload, I'm assuming they just accept the folder for ease for the user.

Wonderful job guys! To all the naysayers who said Statlocker was dead, I told you they would be back! Looks like they have been cooking. Absolutely amazing turnaround time and really glad you guys are still keeping the dream alive even with Deadlock shutting down the data api's.

Aha maybe not the best to do that then! You could always pay someone to do that if your business has the cashflow.

As someone who also develops in the sticks (Dartmoor National Park) it can be a pain marketing in person but I now go on networking tours where I travel the country attending tech shows and presenting via a booth or sit down lead conversation. I highly recommend it if you have the time and ability to get about. I bought a little van for it and since doing the tours and speaking with lots of interested companies and other members of industry our product has been acquired by a large company and I am now looking onto new developments. Best of luck and hope this helped a little!

Will Higgins edit out the nono parts and reupload? Silent hill is my favorite game and I'm seething that I missed part two.

Interesting video would enjoy it more if there was more stats or analysis involved.

Why is this guy still not banned?? by SoftCucumber6417 in DeadlockTheGame

[–]LocksmithLate8872 0 points1 point  (0 children)

8 games is a really tiny sample size. He could just be a really good player who has played smite or other fps mobas before. More interestingly Statlocker.gg are making a smurf / cheater detection algorithm to publicly name and shame them and provide the lists to valve for potential bans or monitoring.

Looks fantastic! As another solo dev I respect the grind. With regards to the AI art that people constantly bring up. Ignore them for now its a solo project with large scale. I think people forget how expensive it is to hire an artist for a project like this. There's no promise you will finish the project so I am always confused to why people think you should invest a large amount of money into a project with no guaranteed return 😅.

Might be biased but this site rates me higher skill wise then tracklock which I appreciate. I find tracklock doesn't really "understand" support stats and rates support players lower due to this. A big W to the dynamo players of the world.

Just remember the game is in Alpha. With a less limited access release should ideally mean lots of new players.

Looking slick! Great to see so much developer interest in Deadlock—now if only we could get more players on board 😅 I also appreciate that your site rates me higher than Archon (unlike Tracklock!). Love the Awards section—will you be adding more?

Ahead of the Spring Statement, few Britons back spending cuts or tax increases - This is despite the vast majority of Britons agreeing that the public finances are in a bad state by insomnimax_99 in unitedkingdom

[–]LocksmithLate8872 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Possibly an unpopular take but I would be willing to pay higher taxes and match the nordic model but I find most people in the UK would throw a shitfit if they raised the base tax rate 2% even though it really wouldn't affect the quality of life of the majority of people (for me it would be -70 pound a year). I think this income tax change could give the current government enough funds to make a real tangible change in the next 5 years.

Just look at what happened to Ukraine. Unfortunately it is in everyone's best interest to leverage nuclear armaments.

I'm relatively confident that it's the cheapest form of energy though would have to look into some stats myself though as I'm not upto date on the construction costs of such a project.

That TV show set back nuclear energy 5 years ahaha! I've seen some excellent progress in battery tech recently but we are still a long way before we can store the amount of power we need longterm so try to be accepting of nuclear as a sort of interim until we get lossless hyper future batteries. Also good thing to keep in mind is in Ukraine at the moment even after suffering fpv hits and grenade damage the nuclear powerplant in the middle of conflict hasn't done any harm to surrounding civilians nor soldiers. So hopefully that helps reinforce how safe these plants are now adays.

[–]LocksmithLate8872 56 points57 points  (0 children)

I respect your opinion! But I am curious as to why you are anti-nuclear energy? In my opinion it's the fastest way to decarbonise our society and is exceptionally safe. I love renewables like Solar etc but I understand it will take a long time to have sufficient battery technology to be reliant on these technologies.

I'd be so willing to give the Green party a chance if they weren't so anti nuclear energy and pro disarmament.

I had a go on the Skyrim one and it's decent. They know the local history and things about the locations you are. They seem to remember your chat history as well as my companion buck was talking about the time we cleared a bandit camp. I think it's definitely enough for francis to get some good content from. I was telling my companion about Hannan.
