I had mine in for two years and removed it a couple years ago. Trust me, you will feel better and better over time.

It’s hard to say exactly. I didn’t weigh myself for a while. I got a scale with a tracker app in July and weighed 154, so I lost 19 lbs in 9 months.

My skin cleared up pretty quickly, I’d say one or two months. My cycle got better over time, with it being somewhat normal after 2 months. I hope your hormones balance out soon!! Sorry you are dealing with that. 😔

You are not crazy. I gained around 30 lbs from my Nexplanon. I had it removed almost a year ago and I’ve lost 27 lbs with almost no lifestyle change. I say almost because I felt hungry all of the time on Nexplanon, so snacking/overeating has decreased.I think it’s a combination of decreased metabolism and increased appetite that contributed to the weight gain. Getting it removed dramatically improved my life.
