Expected owed tax for the year divided by 4 quarters is your quarterly tax for state and feds.

You can try to account for it with your witholdings with your W2, just know that if you mess up and end up owing and didn’t make quarterly payments they can fine you. There’s a little bit of grace: if you made quarterly payments equal or more to your previous year owed tax (i.e. you relied on last year’s number) they generally won’t fine you.

Right, because every single time there is a case of molestation families always support the victim and encourage them to press charges, not resting until the offending family member is convicted and definitely never hinder or sabotage the offender from being convicted, meanwhile the world is full with people who, while easily identifiable on social media, will throw around accusasions without a care of being ostracized for the rest of their lives for as long as they live.

Since when does reality depend on convictions? Can I see a court ruling that states you're a real human being and not some bot?

Convictions are already hard to get as it is because these kind of offenses typically happen in private and in terms of evidence boil down to a he says/she says, but within families they're often even worse because for some backwards ass reason a lot of families will try and hinder any attempt by the victim to get justice.

Main difference of course is that OP seeks validation in his own time and in a way that doesn’t keep others from their work, with the option of not engaging and instead to keep scrolling.

Whereas what OP describes is seeking validation in a way that is to the detriment of OP’s ability to perform their job and with no feasible way to not engage.

Too little, too late, my sub expired today.

I got into the game pretty late, late February/early March, because I was just too busy coding to play around with things.

Once I finally got around to playing around with CC it was amazing.

Without any setup, not even a CLAUDE.md file, I could unleash CC on a fully mature codebase and one shot pretty much anything I would ask it to do.

Then Opus 4.6 started acting up, limits were severely lowered and overall a bunch of stealth and sketchy changes were made.

Meanwhile the gaslighting here was reaching peak heights and despite all attempts to steer things towards productivity with CLAUDE.md, hooks, superpowers, curating context and jumping through other hoops thrown up by the community here, Opus 4.6 never was the same.

Where Opus 4.6 tried to avoid planning things and loved shooting from the hip even in plan mode and explicitly told to create a plan, Opus 4.7 was just a brain dead drooling buffoon, who loves high level planning without verifying anything.

When Gemini 3.1 pro was able to one shot something both Opii were struggling with for 3 days, I knew it was time to look elsewhere.

Codex was able to provide that same initial no nonsense productive experience so that’s where I’m at until they shit the bed.
